Description
My role was to deliver the train journey sequence. A majority of the work required crowds, environment builds and character animation.
Gen AI: This project required the use of generative AI, it was the first time I had really seen the need and benefit in a professional environment. We were tasked with changing the dialogue for Bill Nighy, on footage shot 20 years earlier.
In 2019, this was very much emerging tech and it had far more short comings then current day implementations. We used Recycle-GAN along with Nuke to achieve the final result, a fair amount of traditional VFX workflows and creative problem solving made it possible in short time we had to execute.
